Sara is the primary instructor at Pearl Ballroom. She and her partner Evgueni Chaoulski are the 2010 Canadian 10 Dance Champions. Sara teaches both private and group lessons throughout the week. She also coaches the UConn Ballroom Team and East Hartford High School's Ballroom Club. Sara has over 12 years of experience as a dance instructor and brings both her knowledge and warm personality to the lessons. She was awarded a Licentiate Degree by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and is a member of the Canadian Dance Federation
Sara represented Canada at the 2009 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan; the 2010 World Championships in Kiev, Ukraine; and also this years 2011 World Championships in Ottawa, Canada. She trains extensively with some of the world’s best coaches including Alain Doucet, Anik Jolicouer, Yulia Zagoruychenko, Max Kozhevnikov, Katusha Demidova, Paul Holmes and many others.
